The Power of Belief
The very same power that brought Christ back from the dead resides within us. With the indwelling Spirit, we possess the capacity to perform the same miraculous works as Christ, and even greater works. So, what prevents us from overcoming obstacles, healing illnesses, breaking free from addictions, and realizing our full potential?
It boils down to unbelief. If we fail to genuinely acknowledge the power within us, and if our thoughts and emotions act as barriers, then the flow of this power is hindered. Every promise in God's Word is absolute truth—He cannot deceive. Therefore, we must transcend our carnal thoughts and feelings and wholeheartedly trust in this power to be unleashed in our lives. Such power is accessible only to those whose motives are pure, and whose hearts are surrendered to God. Only when we walk in alignment with God's will, with unwavering belief and complete surrender, can we tap into this extraordinary power. God entrusts this level of power only to those who demonstrate unwavering belief and complete surrender.
Abraham's unwavering faith made him the father of many nations, even when all natural and worldly indicators suggested otherwise. Despite the doubts of the flesh, he steadfastly held onto faith. Our human minds often gravitate toward what is natural or explainable. Yet, choosing to have faith in the supernatural—what lies beyond our senses—is a conscious decision.
We must wholeheartedly trust in the truth of God's Word. He has granted us authority over the enemy, to release the oppressed, and the power to heal sickness and disease. We must believe in it, even before witnessing it in the physical realm. For we know that it has already occurred in the spiritual realm, the moment we embraced faith. It is not our own efforts but the power of Christ within us that accomplishes what we are incapable of doing. We activate this power through faith.
No one can fathom the full extent of God's capabilities or place limits upon Him. He can open our minds to receive and believe, allowing us to experience the power that Christ left us with. We must transcend our thoughts, emotions, and self-centeredness to access the untapped potential that lies dormant within us, alongside Christ.
